Role and Responsibilities

The Manager Information technology is responsible to lead and manage all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure, including strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of systems, platforms, and technologies by ensuring that the IT infrastructure supports and aligns with business goals, while maintaining operational efficiency, reliability, and security.

  • Develop and maintain the organization’s IT architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise IT solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of various IT systems, ensuring interoperability between different business functions and applications.
  • Define and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the ERP system to ensure it meets business requirements.
  • Manage ERP-related projects, from scoping and planning through to execution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement ERP system enhancements.
  • Oversee system performance and user support, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships to encourage retention and ensure the team perspective is fully represented in decision making.
  • Ensure the effective operation of all IT systems, including servers, network infrastructure, applications, and databases.
  • Manage IT operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Establish and monitor IT service management processes (e.g., incident, change, and problem management) to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Lead the response to IT incidents and outages, minimizing downtime and mitigating business impact.
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing management of IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, cloud services, and data centers.
  • Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect IT infrastructure from potential threats.
  • Manage budget and resources for infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee the organization’s telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video communication platforms.
  • Manage the procurement, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications hardware and software.
  • Ensure that telecommunications systems are secure, efficient, and scalable.
  • Negotiate contracts with telecom service providers and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals across the various functions of IT infrastructure, ERP systems, and telecommunications.
  • Manage resource allocation, training, and performance reviews for IT staff.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure that IT initiatives support company-wide strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps in alignment with the organization’s overall goals.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on IT performance, including infrastructure reliability, ERP system performance, and service delivery.
  • Evaluate new technologies and solutions to drive innovation and improve business processes.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Qualification and Experience

Minimum or Required
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-2 Years
Preferred
Proven experience in IT management roles with expertise in Enterprise Architecture, ERP, Infrastructure, Operations, and Telecommunications. or related field
IT certifications such as TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture), PMP (Project Management Professional), or ITIL.
