1. PURPOSE
To define and regulate the policy and procedures concerning annual, emergency, Haj pilgrimage, Eid, National Day, Foundation Day, marriage, paternity, "Idda", Compassionate, and examination leave.

2. APPLICABILITY
This policy applies to all staff in Team One facilities.

Covered Personnel:

  • All full-time permanent employees
  • Employees providing care, treatment and/or services

3. DEFINITIONS

  • Compassionate Leave: Period granted for death of immediate family member
  • Employee/s: All full-time permanent employees receiving payment for services
  • Idda: Period of grieving for Muslim woman after husband's death
4. POLICY

Policy Principles:

  • All leaves must be requested through ERP system/Manual form
  • Approval required from department heads prior to leave start date
  • Unauthorized leave extension results in absence declaration
  • Cancellation/amendment requires ERP system/Manual form approval

4.6. ANNUAL LEAVE
Guidelines for annual leave accrual and usage.

Annual Leave Rules:

  • 21 days before 5 years of service, 30 days after 5 years
  • Coordination with departments for leave scheduling
  • Department Head can schedule leave based on work requirements
  • Only one previous year balance can be carried over
  • Maximum 72 days compensation on end of service
SPECIAL LEAVES

Special Leave Types:

  • Hajj Pilgrimage: 10 paid days for eligible employees
  • Marriage Leave: 5 days upon authenticated marriage certificate
  • Paternity Leave: 3 days for child birth
  • Compassionate Leave: 5 days for immediate family death
  • Idda Leave: 4 months 10 days for Muslim female employees
  • Examination Leave: For Saudi employees pursuing education
